About USIM

Based on an internally developed UICC Platform, KONA USIM is equipped with Contactless Mobile Payment (VISA paywave, PAYPASS)
as well as various Applets (T-money, Mobile wallet, etc.) to offer credit and transportation services via mobile
and owns a diverse product portfolio from Dual Interface USIM to NFC USIM and LTE USIM.

USIM Manufacturing Process

SAS certification

Short for Security Accreditation Scheme, SAS is a certification agency that evaluates the
level of security needed in manufacturing of GSM products (SIM, USIM). Serving to ensure
security in a mobile device's UICC application programs and data networks, members
accounts,relevant services and transactions, it evaluates the environment and security of
the supplier used in manufacturing and management of UICC and embedded SIM in order
to protect internal SIM with UICC remote provisioning features, application programs and integrity of data.
